Africans Rising for Justice, Peace and Dignity is saddened by the news of the violent murder of Elvis Nyathi in South Africa. We condemn the act and call on the South African Government and the African Union to bring justice in his honor.
We cannot stand by and watch our dear children pay such a hefty cost, as a community of people who care about the prosperous future for Africa's future generations, we must act in unity to prevent such acts of violence and tragedies from taking place.

The world celebrates Nelson Mandela 100 birth anniversary today, July 18, 2018. Amidst a series of Pan-African movements, Africans Rising for Justice, Peace & dignity is proud to have been one of the hundred ‘Sparks of Hope’ selected by the global campaign #WalkTogether - to celebrate initiatives that work to continue the long walk to Freedom and are guided by Mandela’s legacy.

Oppression does not exist in isolation, and the Palestinian struggle has multiple points of intersectionality with countless struggles across the African continent for they all are struggles against a global system of the few - a system anchored on capitalism, patriarchy and dispossession.
The Israeli government has always attempted to silence the voice of Palestinians on the rise, however, such a violation of Gaza should chock us all into action and it should never be business as usual.
