About Aneth Mbame
Content Writer
Aneth is a dynamic communication professional and project leader dedicated to driving social impact across Africa. This unique blend of skills allows her to seamlessly bridge the gap between strategic storytelling and rigorous operational execution. In her role as Content Writer at Africans Rising, she coordinates and develop strategic cross cutting content across various platforms, to craft narratives that empower communities and foster sustainable advancement.
Prior to this role, Aneth served as Central African Regional Communication and Media Organizer for Africans Rising, where she helped in building media relations, ensure media story publications to enhance visibility of the movement, helped in the development of communication strategies and prepare contents for social media.
Aneth has equally served as communications officer for the Network for the Fight Against Hunger, a CSO based in Yaounde, Cameroon, where she prepared the communications strategy of the organization, visibility and website and social media updates and management.
Aneth has also served as community field supervisor for a UNHCR funded project implemented by the Lutheran World Federation.
She also served as community field supervisor for a World Food Program project where she trained rural women on sustainable self reliant projects for economic empowerment. Both in the Far North region of Cameroon affected by Boko Haram insurgences
Aneth has equally severed as a journalist and reporter for different media outlets including the Cameroon Radio Television, CRTV and an international magazine known as Profiles International.
Aneth holds a masters degree in Projet management from the Higher Institute of Sahel of the University of Maroua and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Buea, Cameroon.
She also obtained a certificate in agriculture on the Future of Farming from the University of Reading based in London and has completed different professional training courses at the Koffi Annan Peace Keeping Training Center, KAIPTC in Accra, Ghana

Aneth is deeply passionate about communication for development and change using storytelling approach to pitch contents that drive the African narrative. Her work is a mirror, spotlighting and reflecting the vision and mission of the movement.
